Account Deletion

Night Whisper lets you delete your account and associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

  1. Open Night Whisper
  2. Go to Account
  3. Go to Account Details
  4. Tap "Delete my account"
  5. Confirm deletion

Option 2 — By email (if you can't access the app)

Email privacy@nightwhisper.com from the email used for your Night Whisper account with subject "Account Deletion Request".

What we need to process your request:

  • The email address used for your Night Whisper account
  • (Optional) Your in-app user ID, if available

What happens when you delete your account

We will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, such as:

  • Account profile (email/username and basic account details)
  • App preferences and settings linked to your account
  • Content activity linked to your account (e.g., saved items/history), if stored on our servers

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where required or permitted by law and for legitimate business purposes, such as:

  • Records needed for legal, tax, accounting, and compliance
  • Security and fraud-prevention logs
  • Dispute resolution and enforcement of our Terms

Timing

We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days.

Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being securely removed.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Night Whisper account does not cancel your subscription.

Subscriptions must be managed in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
